Sasquatch word, by Angelique Benham:
One of the most recent discoveries our team has experienced is the correlation between the language of the Forest People and the ancient American languages that cross borders and tribal lands throughout North America.
Most recently, a word kept cropping up. Yes. A word. A word with two syllables, and pronounced identically by several of these Forest People. It is a word that is yelled, aggressively at those who encounter them. Coupled with size and sheer intimidation factor, I promise you, this one word will make you soil your clothes, if bellowed at you.
We’ve known of four different people (none of whom knew or lived by each other– and in particular, Ron Morehead’s “Sierra sounds” recording) who have had the exact same word roared at them by the male Forest People. All three of these people live in three different (non-neighboring) states.
I set out to do a little digging, but couldn’t find anything until I stumbled across the word through a non-related conversation with a tribal elder. I quite literally accidently discovered that it is an old universal word that was used in ancient times. While we were visiting, he blurted the word out nonchalantly, in a conversation we were having, without realizing it was a word that I had been researching.
“Wait. What did you just say?” He had no clue I was looking for the origin of the word, and I had no clue it was an ancient Lakota word. As it turns out, in the old days, as various native tribes would enter into each other’s territory, they would be met at the borders by a group of warriors. This word would be yelled at the intruders with aggression and strength.
It was intimidating, to say the least, and it meant that the intruders had better stop where they were at and show respect and honor to that tribe or suffer the consequences. This was usually done by introductions and gifting, with either food and blankets, or tobacco. If the offering was accepted, then the intruders were allowed safe passage. If not, then they were met with eminent danger.
This word is being yelled by the Forest men (most recently, two months ago).
Remember, we aren’t dealing with an animal. We’re dealing with a tribe of PEOPLE; a tribe that still lives like the “old days.” These are men, women and children. They have nuclear families, clans, tribes, and even a nation. The days of thinking they are animals are over. (Just like the days of the settlers thinking Native Americans were animals are over.)
They’ve been trying to communicate with us all along, but we’ve been too arrogant and STUPID to hear them. If you get yelled at by one of them and you hear a word. Stop what you’re doing and realize you just stepped foot in someone else’s territory. You better get permission before you go any farther. Don’t be arrogant and narcissistic. Humble yourself and show respect.
Think of it like a Maori Haka. Look one up and watch one on a video. It’s intimidating, and if faced by them in the “old days” it would bring fear to the bravest of men. Do you really want to cross them? No. Their displays of aggression are terrifying. So take the Forest People into consideration.
If you want a peaceful interaction and safe passage. Stop, introduce yourself and heed their demand.
AKTA!
It literally means:
HONOR THE PEOPLE!!

I had a crazy experience on
February 17, 2018 on the day I had been exploring the small stream running out of a small Reservoir above.
I had started from above at the reservoir & noticed the nice looking stream below from the top of the dam, as I walked along the dam road I stopped & made (3) three loud whoops in a row, it did sound very good as the sounds traveled down the small canyon, not thinking much at the time as I do this in many new places I go too!
As luck would have it I experienced an encounter of a lifetime.
I had gone down the steep access road to the bottom almost falling because I had started running & could not stop, finally I did stop with no accident, thank god!
So I had been exploring from the bottom of the dam & where the small stream had started, walking down stream maybe 75 or so yards I ended up walking in the middle of this stream, it was very shallow in this part I was searching for minerals associated with gold.
As I did so I felt a presence to my right side looking down stream, I looked saw nothing then returning my direction to the left side of stream looking for minerals.
Within seconds I feel sometimes looking at me again & turn to my right, now I see something it’s a figure looking at me at 40-45 yards all I can see is the top of it meaning I can see a head & shoulders from mid chest up because it was standing in what looked like a gulley & looking thru the middle of a V in the tree!
“I thought about this part for years & with more info that came later is how I surmised it was in a gulley, how deep I do not know.”
So just after I start video I say
“Hello how are you doing?”
Context,
I’m standing in the middle of the stream it is low but running, my ears are bad & sounds of the stream are all I hear!
Strange how I knew I was seeing something but in the video you see I only continue doing video maybe what seemed like 2 or less mins. more!
I do not remember why I did not keep the encounter going I was surprised but not scared as I felt no I’ll will towards me, I remember crossing back over to the other side on my left & just started looking digging again for minerals associated with gold.
I do remember then stopping & looking back to the area where I had seen the subject, saw nothing & started digging again…
WTF!
What was I thinking, looking back I didn’t think what I saw was real ‘definitely did not see the others at the time.
So I hadn’t shown anyone else the pics or video for
4-5mos. I received a call from very good friend, he say’s crab opener is here, he needed me to operate the boat.
Soon the opener is here & I’m arriving at the campground & find them, I said them because his son, daughter in-law & two young son’s are there I haven’t seen in a few years,
it doesn’t take long & I ask wanna see a video I filmed of a creature?
They know a lot about me as I do them being kids now in their early thirties.
I layed out the context first & told them what I see & what transpired.
“Real” quickly Jimmie says wait who is that & that’s not your voice he said to me, I was bewildered & said what & where?
Give him my iPhone he backs it up & tells me when,
I was blown away, I must had watched this video 40 or more times never heard any of it only running stream.
Long weekend finally was home & spent the next few days analyzing, listening to the sounds of two syllable word over, over & over…
My conclusion is it sounds like “VON-Jovie”
I had shared the sound part of video with maybe (3) three people, they were all taken aback they all were just work associates!
Two of them said it was responding to me after I said at start of video
Hello how are you doing?
Do not remember the third one commenting!
Any info. on the two syllable
“VON-jovie” would be greatly appreciated!
Even if it sounds like this I would like to know the meaning(s) of the two syllable word…
Much more context on this subject over the five years since the experience!
Take care…

Greetings and thanks for sharing your experience with our readers on SCENIC. Research has shown that the Sasquatch often use words from ancient Indigenous dialects, sometimes extinct among human tribes. The word ”Von-Jovie” you mention probably have a meaning in some language, but it would need research and investigation to find out. Hopefully, by publishing it here, someone might come up with an answer.
Yesterday, someone sent me a recording she took in SW BC in which a Sasquatch pronounces a few words. I had it analyzed by Salishan speakers from that region and my friend chief provided a possible translation. This story will be addressed shortly in a next post.
We often notice with Sasquatch recordings that different people can hear different words, even in different languages. Just like some can hear or see things others don’t, or we can hear differently from a listening to the next.
They have shown many times that they can alter electromagnetic files in ways beyond our understanding, even after transferring or uploading them.
I recorded their voices twice, once in Chehalis, BC, and once in QLD, Australia. I noticed and confirmed the above statements, as I listened to the soundtracks dozens of times and it was like I was hearing differently each time.
Thanks again for sharing your experience. if you have a way to share the recording with our audience, it would be interesting to listen to it. All together we have better chances to reach a greater understanding.
Best blessings on your quest…

This is great info. Thank you. I just want to point something out. Even though it was a great analogy and I understood your point, the Haka is a relatively knew thing that was develop around the Māori wars. It’s not an ancient practice.
