Lifetime connection, by Cindy Welch:

Hi. I’ve always had a connection with Sasquatch. I say always, because my first encounter I was a couple weeks from my 2nd birthday.

My grandfather had passed away in Mammoth Springs AR in 1962. That night all the family (6 kids and 4 adults) stayed in our aunt and uncle’s 2 room cabin. There was a waterpump on the back porch for water and an outhouse in the woods. Lanterns were used in the house. I woke up needing the “restroom “. My mom and aunt were still awake talking, I was handed a flash and told “you know where it’s at”. I was about 20 feet from the back door when my path was blocked by a large hairy man. I kept asking him politely, to let me by I need to use the toilet. I repeated several times with no luck. He just kept looking at me confused, so I gave up and went back inside. Mom was mad at me for getting back so soon, I couldn’t have made it to the outhouse that fast.

I said: “there’s a big hairy man in my way”. Both of them had a look of fear on their faces. My aunt told my mom to go tell everyone “Don’t go out tonight”. My aunt handed me a chamber pot. I didn’t understand their fear and my cousins asked me what was wrong and to me, I didn’t know what was wrong.

I consider it a fond memory. I’ve been fortunate to have several encounters over the last 65 years. I have never had a bad encounter.
