A second family of Forest People, by Dawn McAnally Jones from the Ozarks:

I have some things on my mind that I feel I need to share. I am just a country girl who lives in the Ozark Mountains. I enjoy getting out there in the woods.

I lived here, camped here, hiked trails, went back roading and exploring here for almost 49 years, not knowing what was out in those woods. Everytime something weird would happen, like hearing what sounded like a locomotive coming thru the trees and knocking them down, I assumed it was a bear. That was my “reasonable” go to excuse for what I was experiencing.

I never once thought of any other beings or creatures being in the woods with me… until the day I KNEW! I learned the truth. When it becomes a reality for you, there’s no turning back. Up to that point, bigfoot was always of interest to me, but not a reality. I was skeptical that he existed… until I could no longer deny it.

This set me off on a journey to show others the truth as well. If anyone is like me, they want to know the truth. They desire to know what is out there.

Now after the last few years of searching, I have found what I have come to know as a second “family” of Forest People. They are not “beasts” nor “monsters”. They are not some type of “ape or gorilla hybrid”. They are a special created species all their own. They are very intelligent.

As a matter of fact, they have taught me more than I have ever learned from any book. They teach me by showing me patiently, as I, the dumb human, try to figure it all out. They are a peaceful people who show love more deeply than any human I have ever encountered. Their love is unconditional after they have accepted you and have taken you under their wing. Thats not saying they will tolerate any disrespect. You must respect them and their homes and families.

I am on a journey. A journey which takes me thru a lot of strange and unusual things. I try to share what I can with you all. I am not an expert. Like I said, I am just a country girl. No one is an expert in this field.

I am not always correct. I am learning and being taught as I go along. Mistakes are made and I learn from them. I may show you some crazy things. Understand tho, I am not trying to deceive you. I am only showing what I find or see. If I find I am wrong about something, you can be 100% certain, I will correct myself and make sure you all know I was mistaken.

I, as you are, am just curious and seek the truth. If and when the day comes that we “know it all”, won’t it be a boring world to live in?
