1st Sasquatch conference in Quebec: highlights and insights
Greetings SCENIC readers, the first Sasquatch conference in Quebec hosted last Saturday in Gatineau by Sabine Blais of ECSO (Eastern Canada Sasquatch Organization) was a memorable special event. For its first edition, it gathered a modest audience of just three dozens of enthusiasts, yet including several experiencers, in an atmosphere of respectful exchange, quality information sharing and high consciousness connections. It was held in a huge log cabin.

Sabine Blais, organizer (ECSO), Silver Lynx (Silver Lynx Photo, Sacred Sasquatch), Christine Byrnes (Animal Energy Communicator), Peter Smith (Ontario Sasquatch), Deborah Letch (Métis artist with connections to Sabe), SunBôw (SCENIC), Lindsay Côté (Anishnabe artist and author), Derek Martin (Bigfoot Canada), Kevin Tracy (Seeking Ontario’s Bigfoot).
It was definitely a success on the energetic level and the planting of a seed that will grow, as Sabine is planning a second edition for next year, which will last two days. We’re hoping it will reach out and attract a larger audience.
Although planned as a bilingual event, all presentations were in English, as almost the entire audience and all presenters were anglophone or bilingual. This probably reflects the lack of literature, of documentation and maybe of interest about Sasquatch among the French speaking population, requiring considerable efforts to update the available info in French and fill this gap.
All in all, it was a great educational meeting with lovely people, worth the twenty hour round trip I had to drive to take part. I highly recommend this event to all seekers and experiencers interested in Sasquatch who can make it next year. Wishing long life, growth and success to this intiative and circle.
Some parts were recorded and photographed, so I’m sharing here a few images taken by me or other participants. Here are two short clips of the beginning of my presentation. Sorry for the poor quality sound.
