The Bluff Creek controversy: Capturing Bigfoot, review by Sasquatch Odyssey:

Note by SunBôw: Since the Patterson-Gimlin footage came out 59 years ago, it has always been a subject of debates and controversy. A deeper study into the circumstantial evidence surrounding the facts had led me to conclude to a hoax, as explained in my Encyclopedia of All Things Sasquatch published in 2019. However, the newly released evidence in the documentary Capturing Bigfoot, including confessions, unveiled facts and unseen footage from 1966 showing a rehearsal in the suit used in the (in)famous Pattie film from 1967, leave little room for doubt about the PG film being unmasked as a hoax.

Anyhow, without any further comment, I recommend watching this film review of Capturing Bigfoot by Sasquatch Odyssey. If the purpose of research is to find the truth, then we must stay open minded and be ready to reevaluate everything we think we know.

By Brian King-Sharp: Capturing Bigfoot: My Screening Reaction, NEW Footage & Why I Believe the Patterson-Gimlin Film Is a Hoax

I traveled to San Francisco for an exclusive early screening of Capturing Bigfoot at New People Cinema on Tuesday October 13th, and what I witnessed completely changed my perspective on the most famous Bigfoot footage ever filmed.

In this video, I share my firsthand reaction to the documentary, including meeting the filmmakers and Clint Patterson, Roger Patterson’s son, and sitting beside Clint as he watched deeply personal moments involving his family’s history and his reconciliation with his mother, Patricia Patterson.

We dive into the documentary’s extensive research, never-before-heard interviews, archival recordings, the money surrounding the original 1967 Patterson-Gimlin Film, and the controversial claims involving Roger Patterson, Bob Gimlin, and Bob Heironimus.

But the biggest revelation comes in the documentary’s final act: newly revealed footage featuring Bob Gimlin on horseback and a figure resembling Patty. After examining the footage and comparing the apparent costumes, I explain why I now believe the Patterson-Gimlin Film was an elaborate hoax.

I also address the growing backlash, accusations, and criticism surrounding the documentary, explain why this evidence matters to the Bigfoot community, and share what’s coming next, including exclusive interviews and the complete screening Q&A on Sasquatch Odyssey.

Whether you believe the Patterson-Gimlin Film is authentic or the greatest Bigfoot hoax ever perpetrated, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
