Sasquatchploitation: 50 popular yet bad movies about Sasquatch

This is a list of 51 movies about Sasquatch/Bigfoot/Yeti, sadly too often horror movies depicting them as dangerous wild beasts or terrifying monsters to hunt down and kill.

The other stereotype, a little kinder, is to portray them as big teddy-like wookie house pets, like in Harry and the Hendersons, which Sasquatch lovers generally affectionate.

Rare are the movies presenting the Sasquatch for the telepathic psychic beings they are. Two excellent examples are Letters to the Big Man and Oracle, which are not listed here.

Another film we could recommend without having viewed it yet is Sasquatch’n, a documentary by Native filmmakers about Native medicine knowledge of Sasquatch.
