Sunray 37th Native American Elders gathering

Greetings readers, it is an honor to announce that I will be among the presenters at the Sunray 37th Native American Elders Gathering. I was invited by Mohawk Elder Tehoronio Joey David who visited me and shared ceremonies, as he has a connection with the Sasquatch and found interest in my writings.

The gathering is hosted by Sunray Meditation Society and Peace Village, founded by Reverend Dhyani Ywahoo, a Cherokee Elder and Buddhist monk, whose sacred chants and dances were the first Native ceremonies I learned 37 years ago and later shared. Since last year the event is held virtually on zoom.

The gathering starts on Thursday night, July 29th, with a (virtual) meeting of Elders, and last until Monday for a closing ceremony. Presentations and panels will be public from Friday to Sunday. They will also be recorded and links will be made available for later viewing…

From Sunray’s website:

37th Annual Native American Elders Gathering

Join us on the zoom platform or in person at the beautiful Peace Village in Lincoln, Vermont, as we listen to our Elders share the wisdom from their families, clans, and nations on this year’s theme:Our Thoughts and Actions are Harvested Tomorrow

It is Our Choice to Plant Seeds of Good Cause

How shall we express harmonic resolution to appearances of dissonance for building co-operative society?

See change and recognize the power of our heart minds to actualize growth that is wisdom and life force enhancing.

The Teachings shared at the Elders Gathering are available for all. They are offered with love and compassion.

The Fires at the Sunray Peace Village are lit at sunrise (7 AM) on Friday July 30th and close on Sunday August 1st at 4:00pm (Eastern time).

See the full schedule and list of presenters as they are updated on our website. A link for participation will be sent to you after registration.

This is a non-profit event with all proceeds going to support the event and the Elders and Lamas offering presentations.

We welcome both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people as well other community organizations.

This year, Elders Gathering is offered by donation.  In order to make the teachings available for all, please give what you can.

All registrants will receive access to the full weekend, Friday, July 30th to Sunday, August 1st. All who make a donation in any amount will also receive video recordings.
