Classic Canadian Sasquatch Stories – The Columbia Mountains (video):

This 20-minute video covers reports from the Columbia Mountains of British Columbia, labeled as Area 2 by researchers for the number of sightings. With Native legends recorded by anthropologists like Susan Allison, historic reports, some documented by famous researchers like Peter Byrne, John Green or René Dahinden, including the story of Sasquatch Lake. Some of these stories are listed and studied in Hairy Humanoids from the Wild – Encyclopedia of All Things Sasquatch.

Synopsis: For centuries, the indigenous peoples of Canada’s Columbia Mountains have maintained that they share their traditional territory with mountain-dwelling giants who abide in the region’s most desolate crags and canyons. In this video, we delve into classic wildman stories from the West Kootenays and Wells Gray Provincial Park.
