The stretch of the Shropshire Union canal where the Man-Monkey haunts dates back to the 1770s. The Man-Monkey has been sighted around Bridge 39 of the canal many times since, over the years, as recently as 2002. If the Man-Monkey had manifested a few hundred years earlier, we would be more than likely be discussing some species of ape-like hobgoblin, while if the strange events had occurred in more recent times, we may well be looking at a tale of a British Bigfoot or perhaps a furry alien.
"Most Sasquatch can speak directly to the Earth Mother. We know she is upset. This bothers us tremendously. Humans can't speak to Mother like we can and most do not even know that Earth is a living being. So they use and abuse her. This bothers her very much and she is fed up. She is showing her displeasure with the humans. It is hard for us to not get really angry when we witness first hand the destruction of our Mother by some of your humans. We must be patient with you because you don't understand what you are doing and if you do you don't care. It is true that we see a change in humanity's consciousness about their relationship with our Earth Mother but it is slight. We continue to teach trusted humans their relationship with Earth Mother and urge them to help others of your kind help spread the message. Earth Mother will only allow so much abuse before she rides herself of the inflictors. Times are changing and care for this home is becoming more prevalent in your collective awareness but there is still much work to do. Please go and help your people understand what they are doing. Just four days ago, I posted a short video of an alleged Thylacine presumably extinct, recently filmed near Melbourne. Today, I came across this news from last week that might explain the mystery. This 9News report describes a large scale highly funded project in Melbourne to back-engineer genetically or bring back to life the Thylacine. The scientists involved are enthusiastic about their progress and convinced they will reintroduce the Thylacine shortly, aiming at bringing back and reintroducing other extinct species, as well as genetically modifying endangered species.
Turning she looked up at a sight that literally paralysed her with fear. Right beside her were three big hairy creatures, two men and a woman who appeared to be human and half ape. The creatures had hair to their shoulders and a fur-like growth about their mid-sections. Their skin was light but leathery-looking their noses flattened lightly upturned exposing large round nostrils. Their eyes were small and sunken under craggy brows...

Australian Yowie Research shared a fascinating video to their YouTube channel in May 2021, in which a pair of large, unidentified humanoids were captured on thermal camera. The video was reportedly shot in April at Springbrook National Park on the Gold Coast in Australia, and according to researcher Dean Harrison, shows two "eight-foot-tall Yowies."
I found this recent report of a Yowie sighting interesting and was ready to post it when I recognized the name of the place in the article and after double-checking, it turns out that out of all places, Jimna is this same small remote Indigenous community of ninety souls isolated in the mountainous wilderness at the core of the Yowie Triangle, where I happened to have been two years ago on my way to a nearby mountaintop where I spent the night and had a close encounters of a few hours with the local Yowie clan. I wrote about this experience in the Yowie Triangle in previous posts. I remember hearing while there that the people in Jimna were quite familiar with the Yowie and rather feared encountering them. I have not seen the book and cannot guarantee the quality of its content and interpretation, but its looks very well made with nice artwork and interesting enough to share, especially for children or beginners in the field. Personally, I don't consider Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie as subjects of cryptozoology as they are not animals but intelligent people, however mysterious and elusive enough to remain widely unknown and hidden.
